On a wonderful sunny day, almost too hot for many of us, President Mike welcomed us to his home club, Buxton and High Peak.
It was to be 18 holes individual stableford off the yellow tees.
The course was in fantastic condition, the locals claiming the best ever, which one could not disagree with
The President had provided us with half way refreshments, which were most welcome – thank you.
After the game drinks were plentiful being followed by a good meal. Scoring was good, Clive Barker winning with 38 points. The President’s personal friend Ernie Ells providing 2 bottles of wine
