A brilliant sunny day took us to Breadsall Priory for our match against Shropshire and Hereford.
The course was in excellent condition, although the greens were a little slow and a hard surface, this made it difficult for some of the players.
After some very close matches Derbyshire won 6-2.
We were well looked after by all the staff at Breadsall who made us most welcome.
We were welcomed by Bill Matthews, past captain of Breadsall. David Barlass, S & H captain, said that a true bond had been formed between the two counties a point with which captain Graham agreed.
